August Recap

How was the month?

Was okay. Went traveling; see previous blog post! And then I had to stay at the commie-block for like a week because I asked for a health checkup not knowing the "intestines ultrasound" they recommended me involved drinking laxatives and crapping my pants out the day before and it was miserable as fuck. The crapping part was fine! The miserable part was drinking the full liter of salty water that makes you wanna vomit. Some other things I did include an MRI that sounded like alarms blazing and people shooting at you with machine guns and the elevators at like half the buildings in my school; and then when the MRI proved inconclusive I did another brain scan thing where they put a wrapper over your head and squirted juice all over it and you had to sit there with your eyes closed, but not fall asleep. It proved really hard.

And in the end the result was just "sleep earlier and eat more vegetables." Fuck me. Never going to the hospital for no reason again. And after that I still had to stay at the commie-block for one thing after another and later turned out my parents had been keeping me away from grandma's because my brother was there apparently or something? So they only let me go back after he left? Which was stupid because my drawing tablet and mouse had both been at grandma's and the desk was tiny and I can't draw and using my laptop was miserable without my trusty mouse I nearly ended up catching one from the kitchen but turned out there were only cockroaches, no mice. I could've gotten so much more shit done and ended up doing nothing — see the pitiful number of August drawings on the TIR site and note the dates. Fuckass.

And then I got back to college and life went back to being chicken fly dog jump! Hope the semester treats me well. Who invented letters of recommendation? Do they grow out of the ground or on a tree??
