Amber has no idea how she came across Peacock; it was like magic. (Peacock was looking for her.) Now she finally has a stable life for herself and her daughter(s). However, after being turned by the shady organization fighting against Starcorp and Bauhinia (that I haven't named yet), she used her proximity to Peacock to find a lot of evidence for Starcorp's numerous crimes. Despite Peacock's pleas, she was assassinated by Starcorp.

Sparky loves Amber almost obsessively. She always demands to know everything about what her mom is doing. If Amber's whereabouts are unknown to Sparky for even a split second, Sparky would worry that something happened to her mom, because she's terrified of losing her. It was tiring for Amber, like raising a sentient surveillance camera. She preferred Willow.

Sparky's longing for Jackal also irritated Amber, because for all Sparky knew, Jackal was neither a good dad nor a good husband. But Amber doesn't know how to break it to her.

Peacock (husband)

Peacock had been looking for Amber, repaying the love he received in his past life as Sparky. Ultimately he too failed to protect her.
